Walking Horse Lodge Lewisburg

Stayed here for a few months a couple of yrs ago while while in town on a job site. Kinda out dated at that time and pool was never open. But the service was good, rooms were clean, area safe and quite, and its conveniently located close to many stores, and restaurants

I requested a handicap room I received a non-smoking partial handicap room. Opened the door to a smell of smoke, Roaches in the drawers, bed was four mattresses high, used a chair to help get into the bed, carpet had tourn spots in it, covered in duct tape, nails poking through carpets, going into the bathroom ceiling tile falling down had mold and mildew, water was only luke warm, the sockets in the lamps were broken. worse place I've ever stayed.

I stayed at this hotel for one night. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, there were several issues that made my stay uncomfortable. The reception area was closed off with a wooden stick, which felt very unprofessional. The room was full of insects, and everything inside was extremely old and worn out. There was no complimentary coffee or tea like in most other hotels I’ve visited. The towels were torn, and overall cleanliness was poor. One of the most disappointing things was that they asked for a deposit, even though the hotel’s condition does not justify it. I’ve stayed in many hotels before and was never asked for a deposit. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place until major improvements are made.

I was in room 227 and there was a bug on the sign of my room! Everything else was good!

Great team here. Historic Walking Horse Lodge. If you need place to stay while stopping through Lewisburg - this is great. Close to Hi-way 50 drive in, Henry Horton Park.
