Walkabout Beach Resort

I visit often because of the amazing service and music. It is unfortunate that I only get there a few times a week, but I make a point to visit when Jimmy plays on Thursdays and Saturdays. I think no one will argue that he is the best musician on the beach. It is not the lone reason to visit. You cannot beat the location, view, and the friendliness of the bartender/bar manager that works those days. She is both professional and inviting to all that visit. With the many options on the beach for a Tiki bar, this is not one you want to miss out on.

We'll often put up with a lot when we're at the beach. I had to sweep the room when I first got there, but there was a broom, and it was easy. Next time, I'm bringing my dyson. There will be a next time. This was affordable, especially during hurricane season. From our room you could see the ocean and the top of the tiki bar. The live music was nice. Right next door is a really big restaurant. It's only a short trip to an excellent pizza place as well (we walked). The famous Le Tub burger joint is within walking distance. It's right on the inner coastal across from Margaritaville. The bed was really soft and comfortable. The pillows were great. The air conditioner struggled because it is Florida. We were still very comfortable. This is a nice place with a well stocked kitche

I've never stayed here and no matter what their sign says they do not have the best Pina colada on the beach 😂 but starting at 3:30pm the two wooden benches by the tiki bar that face the beach are in the shade and that is the best place on the beach to sit and have a drink. Also, Abraham is a beautiful singer.

Saw a sign said best Pina coladas on boardwalk, we tried um, very good. We tried others, yup, best on boardwalk.

I didn't stay at the resort, but I did have a beer at the front of hotel. Beautiful spot and th music was excellent. I was quite upset when the bar keeper try to add an extra fee ( for credit cards) on top of my bill after paying cash. Guess she was hoping I would over look it. Also, I do not like when the tip is added. Tip is for good service. I would not recommend this place, head a little south, music is also good and beer is cheaper
