Walden Estate

Walden Hall was nothing short of amazing. My wife and I recently had our wedding on the property and it was honestly a perfect weekend for everyone involved. We had the whole property rented for the weekend which included the Rehearsal, Ceremony, Cocktail hour and Reception and both our immediate families were able to stay with us during the weekend. Every person in attendance for the event mentioned how beautiful the property was and how well everything was set up. The owners had everything set up for the event before we arrived and everything looked spectacular. The owners overall were amazing people and genuinely cared for my family and I and treated everything like they were setting up their own wedding. I cant thank them enough for how wonderful they were throughout the entire process

We were so fortunate to be able to stay at Walden Hall during Thanksgiving time with our Family! It was so great to have most of us all together. Walden is just the most beautiful B&B. It is so peaceful and quiet, the home is decorated so elegant, the ambience is just perfect! We had so much fun in the game room, playing pool and cards till the we hours in the morning. The theater room was just awesome for some of those family members who just wanted to relax and watch a movie. We had the gourmet kitchen to cook in and lots of Bald Top Beer to drink. The view is nothing but spectacular! The home overlooks a fully stocked pond, with plenty of fishing poles available to use. Walden Hall sits on one of the most idyllic settings you will ever see! The B&B is set back on acres of beautiful property with a gorgeous pond in the front. We stayed in the lovely Thoreau's Pond Suite on the first floor. It was a beautiful room with a luxurious bathroom. The pool area is wonderful as well! If we had had more time I would have loved to spend the whole day sitting and relaxing out there as it was so peaceful. The owners and staff are lovely. Just recently had my wedding of 136 people at this gorgeous estate. Julie and Dave were so unbelievably nice, hospitable, and very flexible based on our needs for the weekend. Walden Hall was the PERFECT location, both my and my husband's family were able to enjoy each others company the entire weekend, and we got so many compliments about the venue. Would highly recommend this venue for anyone getting married.

Walden Hall is a magical place. I rented the entire venue for a weekend to host my wedding and had the most amazing time ever! There was room for all of my immediate family members, including my dogs, and everyone was in awe of how beautiful the house is, how wonderfully it’s decorated, and how scenic and gorgeous the landscape is. Stepping out of the house and joining hands with my mother to walk to the ceremony site was indescribable. To top it all off, the owners and staff are the kindest, friendliest people who genuinely care about you and your wedding, and they will go above and beyond to make your day exactly how you want it.
