Wagon Wheel Cabins

The area is beautiful and the cabins are basic. But the whole experience is magical! I would definitely stay a gain! Thanks for the warm welcome!

These are newly renovated cabins that are situated next to Kettle Creek in upper Clinton lower Potter county. About 2 miles from Cross Forks on Rt 144. Three cabins and a guest house are available. We have stayed in all the cabins over the years and they are very clean and comfortable! Everything you need except food bedding and of course your fishing poles is provided. Even firewood!!! The Troyers are the BEST host you could ask for. Each cabon has a fire ring and picnic table in the front. Nearby are Kettle Creek, Ole Bull, Hyner Run , and all the state forest you can imagine. Trails everywhere!!! Wild life abounds!!! Rates are VERY reasonable. WE go up from Pittsburgh EVERY summer and stay at these delightful cabins..... NO WIFI< NO CELL SERVICE....I LOVE IT!!!!

If your looking for a nice rustic cabin, yet have the comforts of home this is a perfect place. The silence is defening and the location is fantastic if your looking to get away. The creek behind the cabins provides a beautiful spot in the morning or evening. We have seen an otter, deer, and a mother bear with cubs at the stream. We have walked to Cross fork town which is exactly 2 miles one way. A very pleasant walk. Ole bull park is only 11 miles away. Cabin wheel cabins provide all the relaxing one needs.

We stayed at this place three years ago with a few friends. While yes it is "rustic," and "peaceful" outside, and close to the creek, those are the only reasons it gets two stars and not one. The mattress was so caked in human material we could not use it. The floor was so greasy we could not walk on it without stinking up our socks. We actually slept outside in hammocks for two nights. Thank goodness the rain held up, or it would have been a living hell to have to sleep inside the cabin. Things may have changed since then, but I can tell you it was certainly unexpected to walk into that greasy, smelly cabin after such a long day of driving.

Nice clean rustic cabins. Owners are friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and the creek is beautiful.
