Wagon inn

We stay here when we are in the area. Last visit had a terrible storm. Lightning struck nearby and took out the electricity. Pet friendly. Hot weather so couldn't leave pet while we went to casino so had to go elsewhere. Went back next day for refund. No problem. Will definitely stay here next trip. Clean rooms.

So far I do not have any complaints with this motel. I might stay there again if I ever need to sleep from travelling. However, that does not mean there wouldn't be an issue in future. This is probably common with motels but the door locked by itself so I always remembered to keep the key clipped to me. It lacked a few features and I am not sure if it had Wifi or not. The lobby is very tiny and the receptionist had protected glass. The staff are weird but friendly (so far) and they didn't try to enter the room early to try to clean it. The main heater is a baseboard heater (possibly oil-filled) with no exhaust fan in the bathroom. There was a window and a wall heater in the bathroom and a window AC in the back of the room. I would probably stay there again. It has every thing you need. There is the full bathroom. They do have the counter area, but no sink ... the sink is in the bathroom. The counter area has the mini soaps, but they are from other hotels. (?) The bathroom has wall heat, with a large window that opens with screen. The Air Conditioner is in the back of the room (This hotel's rooms have two exterior walls.) and there is a nice mirror light ... If I remember it was a pull chain fluorescent ... with wiring connected to the breaker box. There is a circuit breaker box in the room. (??) The room is second hand furniture, some what mismatched. Don't even slow down when you go by. Filthy. Look at mattress before you pay for room. Shampoo-conditioner partially used. Tub dangerously slick. Dried feces on toilet seat. lampshades and bedding torn. No reason for anyone to be this filthy.

In the end, the car trouble that stranded us on Wagon Inn's doorstep would send it to the junkyard...and the room rate negotiations left me thinking they somehow already knew that. Checking into this near empty motel, on Sunday at midnight cost us $50. The room was green, old and falling to pieces. Really thou, we were just glad to have a moment to collect our thoughts and get some sleep in a warm place.... ...Then we woke up and found blood on the sheets!! Not our blood, (I wish it was) and NOT a blood stain. My wife, newborn bady and I must have been snuggling up all night on dirty sheets....with someone elses blood on them!!! And not just a little.
