Wadleigh Falls Campground

I wanted to love this place but unfortunately I don’t feel like it is kept up. The function hall had a storm and they haven’t fixed it, but still have it open and there is signs and oder of mold. The store is lacking supplies needed and I received dirty looks and aggression from the staff. The bathroom/showers are absolutely filthy, I’ve never seen anyone cleaning it. They try to keep it safe by enforcing a speed limit though-out the facility, unfortunately the execution is poor. While going to the speed limit, one employee and fellow campers used foul language and ran into the road. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Furthermore, there is not any activities on this campground and the river is not clean in my opinion. Also, if you are thinking of a place to put your camper I would

Just Don't! This is close to one of the WORST campgrounds I've ever stayed at. Amenities are non existent. Pool hasn't been open for years, and it's obvious, and it's gross! Green water filled with frogs, bugs, and who knows what else. Want to play minigolf or use the rec hall? Good luck. Management is NEVER in the office and these amenities are locked up. Want to take you kids to the playground? Be careful. What does exist for a playground is broken and run down with nails protruding from various places. Pieces missing, never replaced or made safe. The "Beach" is not maintained, nothing is for that matter. Did you enjoy High School and all the clicks? You may just love this place. If you are friends with management you can play free pool and access the rec hall at your leisure.... not in

We stayed at Wadleigh Falls for five days. We had a great site right on the river and not too far from the bathrooms. Before going, we thought you could swim in the river but that is NOT the case. It's dark like coffee and teaming with awesomely huge turtles. Very wonderful sight for fishing and watching the turtles. There are also tons of gigantic bull frogs in the marshy area right near the bathroom, this can be a little loud at night. Overall, the six kids with us absolutely loved everything about the place. We enjoyed the pool very much. The playground is a backyard swingset, the rec room was kind of a wreck - but we were there to camp and have fun outdoors. We had a wonderful visit got f1 spot next to the river. It was so nice and quit. The other campers were super nice, love the pool and Dorren is amazing she really hooked us up. I had a blast in the pool.
