Our trip with Voyageurs Outpost Co. was absolutely incredible! Everything was so easy and well coordinated from start to finish. We decided to step outside our comfort zone and canoe out to our spot — and it turned out to be perfectly manageable even for beginners. Emily was amazing — so kind, available, and incredibly helpful in showing us places we could explore on our own. Her guidance made the whole experience feel relaxed and adventurous at the same time. If you’re looking for the perfect Northwoods winter experience, Big Dipper Glamping Dome absolutely delivers. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful, polished, and effortless. Emily is an Incredible host. Such a warm, kind and thoughtful individual. The dome itself is stunning — cozy, beautifully designed, and somehow both rustic and upscale at the same time. Waking up to snow-covered pines through the panoramic front window felt like something out of a magazine. It’s true glamping: warm, comfortable, and stylish — without sacrificing the magic of being immersed in nature. The best way to experience the Boundary Waters! We loved our stay at The Little Dipper by the water. It was cozy, clean, quiet and beautiful. Thirteen years I have spent with my husband! This will be an experience we compare all other experiences too! From the dome to the towels to the dishes chosen, it’s perfect! Early September was wonderful for fall rain and slight chill for hiking. I could t have asked for anything better!!

We just returned from staying at The Big Dipper dome to celebrate our 21st anniversary and it was incredible. The private dock was spacious and easy to find. The hike up was steep (as expected), but well marked, and gorgeous. The dome felt expansive but cozy. All of the furnishings were top notch but not 'stuffy'. This is the Northwoods after all! The bed was very comfortable and the linens were soft. We cooked fabulous steaks on the Blackstone provided. The bathroom has a heavenly rain shower with great water pressure. We utilized the games, speaker and puzzles provided by the owner which was welcomed and supported our efforts to pack as little as possible. We ended each day with a dip in the wood fired hot tub which soothed our aching muscles after our long days reeling in fish from beau
