Mixed feelings about this stay. Really loved the size of the shower and the quality bath amenities. Also LOVED they had a water dispenser on each floor with sparkling water! Although the room was large, there was much wasted space and it didn’t flow well. Bonus points for having a closet, as the trend seems to be against that now. The keycards are ridiculous - during the entire stay they didn’t work once. We were at the front desk so often during our 3 day stay, that they would start issuing the new card as we approached them - no questions asked. While in principle, having a restaurant onsite is a good thing, this restaurant seemed really awkward and it didn’t serve breakfast. I found this to be strange. We didn’t eat there. Loved this hotel. The staff was so nice, the rooms were beautiful. Seems as though they were recently updated *nice touch* The location is walkable to shops and restaurants. The only disappointing area was the gym. It was so small with 2 large bathrooms in side. If the bathrooms and the bike were gone there would be more space to do floor exercises.

Positive: The hotel is very clean and the rooms are nice. I appreciated how clean the pool was and the staff was friendly for the most part. The shuttle driver gives you his personal number to try to accommodate which is extra special. Negative: It is no fault of the hotel but everything nearby is under construction. The waterfront took a hit by storms which is understandable.

Wow, this might just be the best experience at a hotel I have ever had. I came with my family for a few days before Thanksgiving and we had the best time ever- mainly due to the help, kindness, generosity, and suggestions of all the staff. Sarasota itself is wonderful, but I highly recommend staying here at Voco. Tiffany and all of the front desk staff were personable, patient, and full of tips and tricks to see everything we could. Everyone was so professional and easy to approach with questions. We utilized the shuttle the hotel has quite a bit since we wanted to explore! Barry, Rich, and the other nice man (so sorry I forgot his name!) were amazing drivers with so many cool stories, ideas for places to eat/drink, and great conversationalists! We recently stayed at Voco for a quick trip to Sarasota and to soak up some sunshine. I cannot say enough about the level of service and welcoming we received from start to finish. Tiffany ensured our stay was nothing short of fantastic, from great local recommendations, to shuttle transportation to and from area beaches and restaurants, everything was so comfortable and easy once we arrived. Beach towels, chairs were all provided, our room was large and spacious, and the location was well within walking distance of great local coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. We did not want to leave and can’t wait to return. Tiffany provides excellent customer service and the entire staff was wonderful especially our shuttle drivers who knew so much about the local area and history.
