MOLD IN ROOM. I have never left a bad review, but I must for this property. I hoped it would not get to this point. I booked this place for a 21-night stay. When I entered the house, I noticed a damp drain smell. I immediately notified the owner, and he advised me to give it a day because of the ongoing storm. I woke up coughing the next morning. I asked the owner if there was mold in the room because I am allergic and it seemed like I was having a reaction. He told me there was none, and said he had the drains inspected and more cleaning for the room to eliminate the smell. My symptoms worsened the next night and then I discovered mold in the bathroom. When I told the owner, he told me he could not refund me, but if someone else booked my last 19 days, he would give me back 50%. He wanted

The Room was clean and tidy, with great communication with Sergio. There is no view however you are right off Biscayne Boulevard therefore great amenities and transport links. The bathroom was small but manageable however the toilet was not 100% fixed down so moved when sat down. The kitchenette was nice and a large fridge however there were no pots and pans for the hob. There was a communal washroom if needed which was appreciated. The door to the room didn’t close flush however the lock worked fine and was no issue. Thank you Sergio, if in the area again I would stay here again.

Avoid booking this property at all costs. I booked it due to its proximity to an event I was attending without researching the neighborhood, which was a huge mistake. When I arrived late Friday evening, I discovered the front door lock was broken, leaving the property completely unsecured. The lockbox for the key felt unsafe and untrustworthy. As a single woman, I immediately felt uneasy. The room itself was a disappointment. It was hot, smelly, and nothing like the photos in the listing, which I now suspect are stock images. The bathroom was tiny, and the kitchenette felt awkwardly placed. The entire setup was far from the “spa-like environment” advertised. When I contacted Sergio, the host, to request a refund, citing the broken lock, he admitted the lock was broken and claimed a part

Wow! What a lovely place to stay. The attention to details blew my mind, I almost felt bad to use the towels and undo the beautiful wrapping. Also, the location was great, pretty close to everything you need in Miami without being in a super crowded area like Miami Beach. There are pretty good restaurants nearby, and the beach is not far either. Extremely happy I found it.
