I stayed at The Virginia Home Inn with my daughter (10 months), parents, and mother-in-law. We were in town to visit extended family (meeting the baby), so Priscilla kindly arranged to host meals at the Inn and we enjoyed using the sitting room and other lovely areas for socializing. ||||The Inn is clean and FULL of historic and interesting antiques. Priscilla knows the story and use behind each item, since she hand-picked them herself. She is a wonderful hostess, visiting and talking with us and telling wonderful stories, but she also provided ample private time with family. ||||Priscilla cooked the best caramel pecan cake I have ever tasted to celebrate my dad's birthday. It really was amazing, melt-in-your-mouth. The dining service at each meal made us feel served and cared for -

We booked the inn for our son's wedding. William and Edward Lewis made it our home for 5 wonderful days. The rooms were very comfortable (GREAT mattresses!), the ambience (wonderfully renovated and modernized 1920s-era boarding house full of antiques) elegant, the hosts and staff warm and friendly, and the food incomparable. My son's comment: "I've never had a 5-course breakfast before!" We had both the rehearsal dinner and a post-wedding brunch there. Between Edward's Cordon Bleu School culinary skills and William's to-die-for cakes, we could not have chosen a better place to stay. My wife, two sons, and I give it 8 thumbs up!!!

We wanted to do something special for Mom on Mother's Day, so we decided to try a small banquet at this historic and recently renovated B&B. We invited some of her best friends to share it with and made the plans with William & Edward Lewis, the innkeepers. They had all of the best ideas to make this an occasion that everyone totally enjoyed. First there was a tour of the gorgeous home with a very entertaining and informative recital of the history behind it. Then the "Mothers" in our group were escorted into the dining room and honored with flowers. The multi-course dinner was all freshly homemade with the finest ingredients and the portions were very generous. Each course was served with a very enjoyable description of what we were about to eat and accompanied with many humorous c

We were recently treated to an upscale dining experience that my family rented out for a birthday party for 14 of us. The owners were so welcoming and went out of their way to cater to any request we had. Not once did our very friendly host appear bothered by our questions about the home's history or the lavish antiques. After touring the home and seeing the beautiful bedrooms (all of which have their own bathrooms, are modern and spotless I may add) I told my husband we just have to stay here one night maybe on our anniversary, even though my in-laws have plenty of room for us in nearby Martinsville (we are from northern Kentucky). The food was just as good as any five-star restaurant I've eaten in, and to be surrounded by such elegant furnishings reminiscent of the Victorian period
