Virginia Backcountry Cabins

We were staying at the motorcycle arcade cabin after a skiing trip as a storm was coming through to the east coast. Jeff and Holly were great hosts inviting us (and some other visitors too) for dinner at their place as most of the restaurants had closed that night. Holly ended up making me a grilled cheese sandwich which was one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have had. The restrooms were clean, serving hot water and having just about everything a restroom needs. We ended up checking out in a couple of hours but our short stay was worth it. I hope to visit sometime soon and explore the area for a bit longer than an unplanned exit. Also we had a cool dog welcome us and I wish I remembered his name!

We had an amazing time here. We stayed here because we had plans to go to Hot Springs and everything in the area was sold out. It's about a 50 min drive to Hot Springs but it's a lovely location. The owners are super welcoming. The property is still growing so can wait to see all they put in when we come back in the Summer. Each cabin has a theme. We stayed in the music cabin which is the most further from the bathrooms but it made up for in the fun instruments we got to play. It has a ladder to access the loft which was surprisingly spacious. Love that they have electric in all the facilities so you are not roughing it to bad. The bathrooms are truly bougie glamping. Sauna was awesome Can't wait to come back.

My son and I recenlty rented the Motorcycle Cabin. This is one of those special places that you hate to tell others about because you want to keep it a secret. The cabins are brand new and are decorated with style and creativity, each with its own theme. Our cabin was stocked with all the amenities, including sitting blankets, mini-fridge, microwave, kettle, mugs, and much more. This is luxury on a small scale - like a room in your friends' cool new cabin. Owners Jeff and Holly could not have been more accomodating and friendly (as are their dogs). We look forward to returning to check out the sauna and other planned amenities.

Jeff and Holly were great hosts. They accommodated a last-minute trip to the area for me and my family and were amazing in every aspect. They essentially opened early so we could stay the weekend for a local festival. The cabins are awesome, and each has a different theme. We stayed in the hiking cabin, and they made sure to add toys for our kids and snacks when we arrived late Friday night. We cannot wait to go back and see all the updates they have planned, my kids kept asking to stay longer because they enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend staying here.

Jeff and Holly are great hosts. Eclectic cabins, trails through thier woods, fire pits, sauna and cold plunge are plenty of fun on site. Also near dark skies, hot springs, a steam engine train, and plenty more to hike and explore. Everything was clean, warm and cozy. Looking forward to staying here again. :)
