Me and my partner were roadtripping on Memorial Day weekend when we got stranded a few miles away from this campground. We had zero cell signal and no one in sight to help us. We were able to start our car and drove back to this campsite to seek shelter. Luckily there was a campsite host who was more than willing to take us in!! Our lovely, “jewel of the desert”, a cute nickname we gave her, Tina was so gracious and kind enough to help us. Tina is an amazing host/human. She helped two stranded strangers traveling from Oregon. Two adults trying to roadtrip and camp along the way, stranded in the most beautiful way possible. We couldn’t have made it if it wasn’t for Tina. She quickly made us feel at “home” offered us food, drinks and made sure we had everything necessity wise. She’s a warm,

Very nice little campsite. The hot spring is a nice amenity, but you need to watch for snakes as they too enjoy the luxury. The natural shower is a cool feature. Theres plenty of space to venture.

Extremely rustic, but very cool destination in the middle of nowhere. Best part is the natural hot spring. Does have a rudimentary shower block house. Think pipe sticking out of the wall. I'd go back. If you like isolation and no crowds, you may like this place. Has several "campsites" with picnic metal tables. Desert sagebrush with amazing sunrise and sunset.

A phenomenal spot to spend a night. Obviously had a lot of love and work put into the bath house, spring, and little library shelter a while back. It was too cold a morning for us to use the shower but a super neat thing to have available! Would highly recommend as a stopping off point between Oregon and Nevada. The pit toilets were clean and stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Would love to come back when it’s warmer than 20°F…

The camping spots are almost all out in the open, most are not level. It gets pretty crowded pretty quick, I was there on a Thursday night and there were only a few sites available. All that being said, the spring was awesome. It's warm but not hot, some parts of the spring are warmer than others, where you can see bubbles come up from the gravel under the water. Fish swimming around you while you enjoy the beautiful desert. It made the spot very worthwhile, would definitely go again.
