Vintage Inn

We enjoyed our stay at the VIntage Inn. There was almost a $20 difference between the rates at this hotel and the Super 8 in Bowling Green. We were taking a budget trip to attend the Back 40 Bluegrass Festival there. The room was clean, had a comfortable bed. Some of the furniture was older but was in good shape and it was obvious that the room had been updated and remodeled in the recent past. Thanks so much for a nice stay.

Traveling with dog, so I like the older motor-in motels as my dog isn't people friendly. I will say this, it was the quietest hotel I've stayed at in a long time! Room was clean, bed was comfortable and lots of grassy areas for my dog. And didn't cost an arm and a leg. No frills, no electric outlet in the bathroom, but I made do. Guy that ran the place was very nice and helpful.

My 5 star rating isn't based on what amenities the motel offers or how modern it is. It is based on how well they work with what they have and how they have treated people. I have visited the motel 3 times. The rooms are a little small but they are cozy. Warm enough and cool enough for whatever the temperature is. I was there when it was -30° outside and stayed plenty warm enough. The rooms have always been clean and I have never seen any creepy crawlies. The exchanges with the owner have always been pleasant and courteous. Vintage Inn is an affordable option if you need to stay in this area and aren't concerned with the frills of a chain hotel.

The Vintage Inn was a very pleasant surprise! Our room was extremely clean and roomy and the bathroom was quite nice. Hardwood (laminate) floors were a great upgrade from the standard carpet in most motel rooms and made the room appear to be even more roomy and clean. Great value, especially for two beds and good location. We definitely will stay here again. Only thing missing was a mirror in the room so I could get ready while husband was in bathroom. But, since I always have a handheld mirror in luggage, no great inconvenience. Thank you to owners for this updated Inn!

Look. It was five stars for the money. If you ignore the tore up parking lot and the pile of construction remnants in front of the last unit, the room was better than expected. It was clean, looked newly remodeled, the bed slept well, the A/C ran cold all night. Only thing I could fault is that the shower is on the small side and there's no place to sit your soap.
