Village Inn Motel

Planned to stay one night but this hotel was so nice, that I extended my stay an additional night. The staff was friendly and accommodating- the room exceeded my expectations. The Starbucks coffee and breakfast sandwiches were a special treat. I would stay here again if I was just looking for a clean comfortable hotel.at a great price.

We came to town for a Monday night Packers game and this was the only hotel left that would let us stay for just the one night. I am not sure if there are normally others, but Green Bay should step their game up in that department because I would never normally choose to stay here and would have loved to have stayed at another hotel in the area for the same price. At non game day prices, it would be reasonable, but we paid more than I've probably ever paid for a hotel in my life and I have stayed at some pretty nice places. The hotel was well kept and clean, I didn't see anything that would scare a kid so that is all that matters right. 😂 But in all honesty the hotel in a whole would be one I recommend to anyone else who is in need of a hotel stay. Not always pretty but warm and safe.

The rooms were fine when we got there. Everything seemed in order. The man at the front seemed fine, just very short and not very friendly. But whatever, I wasn’t going to judge. We spent the night and when we woke up I was covered in red marks. I had gotten bed bugs!!! I decided to wait in case it wasn’t actually bed bugs, but I was the only one in my party that got them. Needless to say I’m not going to complain until we leave but I’m going to write this review so people understand to be careful. And for the staff to clean the beds better. It happens to almost everyone but this shouldn’t have happened at all.
