Villa Motel

Avoid at all costs. My boyfriend and I do a lot of traveling on the road for fun so it’s normal for me to find us last minute rooms. This motel called me back twice after they missed my call around 9pm. I informed the man that we were 2 hours away and he said that it would be fine, “see you when you get here.” So we drive two hours out of our way to get to the room we were just told was available, when I could have found a different motel in this time, to show up to an empty office. I called multiple times and no one answered nor bothered to call back that time. I pounded on the door to no avail, despite the barking dog. I haven’t heard from him since. It’s like he purposefully said “sure, drive 2 hours around the lake” and then disappeared for the fun of it. We had to sleep in our car bec

They were nice people to do business with,the room was nice and clean. They asked me and my boyfriend that if smoked to please do it outside. Butt bucket was available. The only that was not good was the microwave, we told them about it. As we checking out, we asked if we could have lunch before we left, they said no problem. I would go there again.

Traveling in upstate NY during the opening of the track season in Saratoga Springs is NOT a happy time to try to find a motel... Found a an Quality Inn in Glens Falls North that was gouging the last queen room for $249 per night...... Not even going to try this...||Moved further north to Shroom Lake and was scared to try to wake the owners to ask about rooms.||Moved on to the Villa Motel in Keeseville and found a two bedroom cabin for $70/night... ||This motel has been here since before the movie Psycho came out. ||It came with its own spiders. Big ones and little ones. ||The rooms were large enough to fit a twin bed into and have space to slide between the bed and wall...||Noticed the "loveseat" in the living room was a 1970's Herculon jobbie in sad need of new cushions and a frame..||Was

Honestly, the owner seems to be very easy going..until he's not. AND he also doesn't seem to talk to you very much unless you're. Female. Also, he doesn't abid by set rules for a renters belongings. He actually threatened my boyfriend and made him leave the property and said he wasn't allowed to get his stuff thay he was throwing it away. And he went on to actually do that. Other than that, it's a good place, I guess.

The room smelled like someone had smoked five packs of cigarettes despite the “no smoking” sign. The sheets were covered in dirt and I had to get new ones. Customer service sucked, we reserved a room ahead of time but still had to wait forever to actually get one. Do not stay here, it’s not worth the cheap price.
