Vikings Villages Resort LLC

This was our second stay at the Viking Village and once again it exceeded every expectation. From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping back in time , it's peaceful, charming, and surrounded by the beauty of Vermont. Winter feels magical and the perfect place to disconnect from the noise of everyday life. The staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making you feel right at home. Each chalet is unique, warm and thoughtfully designed with modern touches while still maintaining its rustic charm. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare dinner each night. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place! My boys are really into How to Train Your Dragon so we surprised them with a Viking stay! The attention to detail, hospitality, and quality of the cabin and entire grounds is beyond reproach. Don’t hesitate if you are thinking about it! (Only potential drawback is if you want to order food delivery as it’s a bit isolated but that wasn’t an issue for us at all!)

We really enjoyed our stay at Vikings Villages. Seamless check-in and check-out. Christina, the owner, was very helpful with recommendations where to eat or have a cocktail. The cabins are located in Guilford, but it is a ten minute drive to Brattleboro. Brattleboro has a lovely Main Street to stroll with plenty of eating and drinking options. The cabins themselves are something to behold! The attention to detail was amazing. Everything you needed was at your fingertips. The beds were comfortable, and the cabin was warm and cozy. Oh, and there are sheep!! It would be too long of a post to list all that we enjoyed here, so I’m posting pics!

This was a beautiful place to stay. Very peaceful and the cabins are very high quality and well taken care of. There’s an upstairs with two twin beds and a separate room with a bigger bed. It’s not too far from shops in Guilford. Guilford country store had great breakfast. We will definitely be returning when it’s warmer as there was a map of hiking trails. Vermont's best kept hotel secret? I don't want to tell anyone, I want to keep it secret for myself. But that's not how things work. Viking Villages is an amazing place to stay. It's atmosphere is undeniable and yet it strikes the right balance of immersing you in the Viking Village surroundings without forcing you to interact with it any more than you want. The ambiance of the place, the rooms, the surrounding nature is perfect for a quiet getaway. We visited in early Fall and the chill in the air added to the atmosphere. Less than 2 hours from Boston makes this an easy trip from many surrounding areas. The closeness to Brattleboro gives you some great amenities so you can explore the town and nearby parks if you like. Or just bring up some food supplies and cozy up in the chalet and soak
