Vida View Resort

This place is an amazing find! We enjoyed three days at this resort along the McKenzie River. Very clean, well furnished, and well-appointed. Tom and Angie were highly accommodating as they have a thorough knowledge of the region. They had solid suggestions on where to visit and dine in this remote area. We were also given a sneak peek at their future bed-and-breakfast on the other side of the highway. While still under construction as of this writing, it offers spectacular views, spacious rooms, and all the amenities that new construction offers. Worthy of high consideration - would visit again!

My brother and I really enjoyed our stay at VidaView Resort. The help and owners were very accommodating and friendly including the Husky dog Mocha. The beds and amenities were superb. This was coupled with spectacular views and stunning scenery all about. We woke each morning to the beautiful sound of the McKenzie river running by, and at night to wonderful starry nights. It was equally stunning during the rainy days we were there with fresh crisp air. The only thing I would change would be to make my stay longer. Thank you Tom & Angie.

We had a wonderful stay in this peaceful abode that sits right on the McKenzie River. Immediately upon walking in the door you are greeted with beautiful views of the river, and a nice backyard to give you room to relax and let the world go by. The home was clean and well kept. Tom is also an attentive and very responsive host who is close by for any questions you may have about the house or local fare or things to do. It was an excellent stay.

From beginning to end, a fantastic place to stay. Ten of us had a great time with lots of space to spread out. Beds and linens and towels were really nice! Not a thing the house lacked - four days and not a single time did we says “oh I wish we had brought ____.” The river is gorgeous, and there’s shade and sun to be had, with plenty of hammocks to lay out on. The hot tub is perfection as the sun sets and the temperature drops. Tom is incredible helpful and available without interrupting or feeling like he’s monitoring you. He’s got great recommendations and happy to help you make the best of your stay. We are already talking about making this an annual trip, since it was all so easy!

I had an absolutely wonderful time during my stay! Angie and Tom are incredible hosts who go above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming environment. The room was impressively spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Angie and Tom also took the time to show us around the area, sharing local insights and history that made our visit even more meaningful. I would absolutely love to stay here again. If you’re looking for a place that’s not only cozy and clean but also hosted by genuinely kind and thoughtful people, this is the perfect spot!
