Value Inn, Harrisburg - York

Pretty sure it had bed bugs i stayed her a month last year it cost about 1500 for the month. They would kick everyone out of their room when they did "cleaning"? I'm pretty sure the place has bed bugs. I got chemical burns on my arms making a rash and white spots around the outside of my arms from their shower water that smells strongly like bleach when I put it in a cup or turn the water on. When I took a shower immediately after I had gotten these rashes on my face arms and legs and unfortunately i had to stop showering there and went to the doctor for it. The room smelled very bad and no change in smell in the room after the kick me out and make me wait in the lobby for "cleaning" Allergy they do is make the bed i think it didn't really seem clean . I had to wipe everything down with

Older motel. Room was average, good A/C, bed sagged in the middle, fridge & micro OK. Plenty ice. Breakfast was bananas, cereal, toast, pastries, yogurt, juice. Coffee in lobby. Not the best breakfast but not too bad. Biggest problem was that my reservation was cancelled due to a credit card problem, and they would not honor the internet rate. They charged me the full walk in rate. I should have stayed somewhere else, but we were tired. I would not stay again.

Location is great for what I needed. Close to many places to have a good meal or do shopping. The owner is an honest hard working man. But thing there is Ester the receptionist, the most kind, friendliest person I've met in close to 20 years of traveling for work. They need to add a weekly or monthly rate for people like me. I stayed a long time and imo was charged too much, but I stayed anyway because it was close to where I needed to be and I was having car problems. Thank you Ester and you too Neil.

The facility is definitely on the older side and dated, however, the room was clean. We did not have any issues with cigarette smoke smell as others have noted. The location was convenient for our needs and easily accessible.

Nice staff clean large rooms. Plenty of local eateries. I would return. Shampoo and soap provided. English speaking manager/owner. Refrigerator in room. Coffee or juice in the morning.
