Valley Inn

As of writing my review I’m finishing up my stay here. Great location and served its purpose for my visit. Close to my friend I was visiting and not far from major sites in the area. Some updates to the property could be made but nothing major. Brief run in with some palmetto bugs which is to be expected in the summer when humidity is high used to dealing with them back home too. Lovely staff and have everything I needed for my two night stay. Would stay again.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! My family and I booked 15+ rooms for 4 nights because it was in walking distance to my father in-laws house for a surprise 75th birthday party (most of us drove 8+ hours to get there). Our standards were low going into it however it was worse than we could have imagined!||Our room was dirty. We discovered a needle (thankfully capped) by the side of the bed. Black pubic hair all over the bathroom (none of us have black hair). Bathroom sink faucet almost fell off turning on/off the water. White sink was yellow. Electrical outlets were missing cover plates. Thick dust in the vents and on the blinds. And the wifi did not work (yes, real world problems when you have a kid). Good Location and Potential, But Needs Some Updates I recently stayed at the Valley Inn, and while it has a lot of potential, there are definitely areas that need improvement. The location is great, making it a convenient option for travelers. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The linens were clean, which I appreciated, but unfortunately, the bathroom was a bit of a letdown. The water pressure in the shower was really bad, making it difficult to enjoy a good shower. Additionally, the bathtub wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. These issues, combined with the overall dated feel of the room, suggest that it’s time for some updates. Very unhappy with my room experience. We had checked-in easily but after an hour has passed was called back into the office and they were trying to charge an extra 70 a night for my 2 children. Stating the rooms with 2 double beds are for only 2 guests and my 2 children were extra. Considering the out dated facilities, uncomfortable beds and the 20 percent tax they charged. I was paying Hilton prices for just above primitive camping lodging. No thanks, I will never stay there again. We had a big group go with lots of rooms booked. My brother found a capped syringe in his room. The manager went uninvited into the rooms while my cousins children were laying down. Overall bad experience.

Get ready to read because my family & I just came back from here. This is a multiple room experience. I'll start with a positive note. If you're looking for a bed to sleep in, they have it. That's the only positive. I cannot promise you a clean bed. Personal experience (without even a one cent reimbursement): *Privacy - In less that 8 hours of arrival check- in, management (man & woman) allowed themselves into our rooms while we weren't there. The reason I know this, My son & daughter were in the motel room. They heard them go into my brother's room ( next door). Then, knocked and started to jiggle the handle to get into our room. In turn, terrified my kids, obviously. They're older teens and we were just behind the motel at my Uncles house. We thought they'd be fine. The woman said they d
