University Inn "College Inn"

As a single Road Scholar traveler I was very pleased with the accommodations, which were very clean and comfortable. I appreciated the nice sink with a spacious countertop in the room, separate from the shower/toilet combo bath. There was a hair dryer but no TV: I didn't need either one. Just saying in case you wondered. A delicious breakfast buffet was provided each morning, and on the last morning of the trip the food was out extra early for the pre-dawn travelers. A very cordial reception and pleasing people all around! You will enjoy your stay here.

We are on a Road Scholar your asked the facility is very nice, but not fancy. Wonderful breakfast bar with good coffee. Very close to delightful downtown St.George.

This was formerly the women's dorm for Dixie State College. Each room has a small separate bathroom with a bathtub (with shower) and a toilet. The sink and mirror are in the bedroom. The rooms are very clean and bright with nice beds and bed linens. No TV in the room, which keeps things quiet. When going on your Road Scholar trip, consider arriving early or staying an extra day, as the rooms are very inexpensive. The staff here is fantastic - super friendly and helpful. The breakfast they put out is perfect. Always overnight cooked oatmeal, yogurt, breads and fresh fruit. The have a comfortable lounge area and a back patio with a pool. The express shuttle for the Las Vegas airport will deliver you and pick you up at the door.

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our Utah National Parks tour with Road Scholar. This is a converted women's dormitory from Dixie State University. It is clean and very well kept. It has an outdoor pool that was refreshing. The rooms contain double beds that were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was clean and basic. We were served breakfasts that were health conscious and plentiful. We found it very adequate.

This is where we started and ended our Road Scholar (Elderhostel) trip around southern Utah parks. My husband and I each had a double bed to ourselves, and a private shower/toilet; sink is in room. VERY clean, both rooms and general area. No phone or TV in rooms; WiFi is sketchy farther away from the common room, but fine there (and in our room; we were in room 13, first floor, not far from common room). Breakfast was great--oatmeal with good add-ins, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, several different fruits, Aussie Bites, little cinnamon muffins, coffee/tea/juice, toast etc. Because we were all with Road Scholar it was quiet! Economical and also located near historic downtown and its neighborhoods. I would stay here again if in St. George and available!
