UNIFY Retreat Motel

DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION!!! Paid $500.00 for 2 nights on Anniversary of Woodstock Aug 15-17. When we got there it was deserted, overgrown with weeds. We had stayed with new owners last Aug & it was wonderful.....now hear place for sale!!! Owner April finally came to meet us & promised to mail a check for refund....numerous emails...phone calls.....no response!! Now have to spend time & energy pursuing legal action.

This property was absolutely disgusting. I felt like I was on the set of Breaking Bad. Pictures and description online were very deceitful. If no effort is being put into maintaining the property, then there is no business charging what they charge. Such a scam

If this place was $100 cheaper, I'd give it a better review, but for $260/night I expect more. The fridge wasn't plugged in, so everything we put in there wasn't cold when we got back to the room. There was no soap or shampoo or conditioner. There was a mounted place for all of it, but only one of the three containers contained anything and it was an unlabeled mystery liquid. The bathroom itself was on a sloped foundation. The grounds were completely overgrown with weeds everywhere, overturned furniture, children's toys strewn about. It was an easy enough check in, although the keyless entry was a little tricky at times. The designated parking was very unclear. Our family of three had a blast getting out of the City and staying at Unify. Our experience was great. Getting there was easy and close to NYC. The stay itself was comfortable, with the rooms being clean and functional, there was wifi for my work, and our room had a little coffee/tea maker. Random fact, but the bathroom had good-quality toilet tissue, a small detail that matters to me. Plus, there were also marijuana-friendly tools in the room, such as a grinder and a lighter. We were with an 8-year-old, so we kept our smoke outside at the communal campfire, which is a beautiful and calm space to engage with others or just chill by yourself. I was so lucky to have snagged a room at the Unify Retreat Motel last minute for a concert weekend. The vibe is chill and welcoming and I loved the overall decor. The rooms were recently renovated....my bed was super comfy, the bedding and towels were super soft, and I loved the unique ceiling fan along with the keyless locks on the door. A communal bonfire area in the middle of the grounds brought everyone together. 6 minutes from Bethel Woods and a small convenience store across the street to include beer/wine to boot. Cannot wait to come back!
