Underwood Motel I80

Completely refurbished and under new management! This was a great place to stay for two hot and tired travellers. Direct access from parking (rare these days of only hall way access) and a bright overhead light (instead of only two dim bulbs next to the bed). A/C is new and worked great. A gem for people who support small businesses.

Probably one of the 4 or 5 worst hotels we've stayed in. When we got there (june), the air conditioning was off. Inside temperature was 86F! The air conditioner was a TINY unit located at the farthest point from the bed. It ran all night and only got the temperature down to 76 by the time we left in the morning. The refrigerator was unplugged when we got there, so we had no place to store our cold items. Wall power plugs were hanging out of the wall by the wires!

Nice place to call home or just a cheap well kept room away from the city

Terrible service. I arrived in the early morning with my family and they only came out to tell me that it was closed and that there was no service even though there were few guests.

I got there late, and woke the manager up to get me a room, still he was helpful and gracious. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room had all the amenities of a much more expensive room; refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot. I have paid more for much less. It was a great value.
