Under Canvas Lake Powell - Grand Staircase

I enjoyed a wonderful weekend away with some girlfriends a few weeks back and can't stop thinking about it! The site was absolutely gorgeous - and my stay was perfect. Each tent was comfortable, cozy, and was the most wonderful home away from home for the 4 days I was there. The staff was exceptional, warm, and friendly throughout, and the food and drinks were delicious and worth every penny. I enjoyed exploring a slot canyon right on the property and was amazed to see as many stars as I did each night, Top all of this off with free s'mores and cozy firepits each night, craft projects, and views for miles...it was a vacation to remember. I can't wait to come back!

Not worth the price. Good experience

Our experience here has been the best compromise for me and my wife. My wife surprised me for my birthday by meeting up with some of our best friends to accompany us. The accommodations were simple, yet elegant. We love the beds, yert and the wood fire heater. All of the excursions through the customer service were a blast. The staff on site were extremely friendly and helpful with all of our needs. Lastly, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Every night offered a dinner special, and it did not disappoint especially hesting by a campfire outside under the stars. We look forward to our next adventure at another Under the Canvas in other states.

Stayed for one night as a couple in early October in a deluxe tent and found in a great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful in showing us how everything worked at check-in. We liked the tent - the bed was very comfortable although a bit squeaky. We loved sitting outside by the main tent having drinks and looking at the view and later making smores and talking to other guests. My favorite part was watching the sun rise from our tent while being cozy in bed. We did light the stove in our tent in the evening. Only problem was noise in the night from late arriving guests - I used earplugs but they fell out at some point.

Unique experience, in beautifully well equipped tents with proper toilets, and hot showers, and incredible views. Highly recommend the stargazer tent, we saw several shooting stars while lying in bed at night, including a flaming shooting star, it felt magical. The staff were really helpful and brought a cool box and ice which kept my medication and drinks cold all night. The food for dinner and breakfast was tasty with a few different vegetarian options. They even had a live singer with a guitar in the evening which we could listen to while eating dinner around the fire pits. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
