Uncle Buck's Lodge

It was a great experience staying there. Marilyn, the owner was a great host. She cooks you breakfast and visits with you and is a very caring interesting to talk to and was a great hostess!. It is like staying in a lodge. We are definitely going back!!

We had a fantastic stay at Uncle Bucks. It was so refreshing to find a place to rest as we drove west to east in the state of Nebraska. The food was fantastic ! We met some wonderful people!

Hidden gem!! A wonderful and rustic get away. Food was wonderful and the owner was a real treat for the history of the place.

Only complaint was AC was turned up too hot. Besides that excellent and highlight recommend

Uncle Bucks is a fantastic place to stay for a night or a week. It’s in the heart of the Sandhills with the North Loup River drifting by as seen from the north deck. |There are rooms that fit every budget, rooms with a shared bath or rooms with en-suite. Breakfasts are included with the room and are hearty, eggs bacon and pancakes one morning, egg bake another, fresh fruit, freshly baked blueberry muffins, hot coffee juice and tea. We stay here several times a year while we work and visit family near by. It is very clean and comfortable.
