Umpqua River Lodge

David and Carrie were fabulous hosts!! The property is incredible with beautiful views. Cocktail hour with snacks was fabulous. The wine tour felt very personalized. We let Carrie and David pick their favorite local vineyards and they nailed it! We would 100% stay again and hope we can return soon!

This was my 2nd trip to the Umpqua River Lodge. The setting, the guest house, the wine and appetizers are amazing. The best part is Dave and Carrie, owners & operators of the lodge. They took 5 ladies that had never touched a fly rod, gave us a lesson in the park then had us in the river doing our best to catch a fish! The form wasn’t great but a few fish were caught and with Dave’s knowledge and instruction we are all eager to do it again. If you are looking for a warm and inviting atmosphere where friends and family can relax and have a great time I highly recommend giving them a visit! We all five left feeling like family and will book another weekend soon! ❤️

My husband and I got to spend a wonderful weekend with Carrie and Dave at the Umpqua River Lodge! First off, this location is stunning! The lodge overlooks the Umpqua River and is breathtaking. It felt so secluded being tucked up into the woods, but is only a 25ish minute drive from Roseburg. They welcomed us at check in and showed us around the guest house (so spacious and very comfortable). Afterwards, they invited us down to the lodge for a happy hour where they shared some of their delicious wines and snacks. The next morning started off with a warm breakfast and yummy coffee down at the lodge. Dave then drove us in their roomy and immaculately clean suburban to three wineries.
