The rudeness was unbelievable! Made reservations online, showed up and he said he didn't have any rooms. I showed him where the $ for two rooms where deducted from my account, 30 min before I arrived.. he started yelling ",No. No.. you requested smoking room, you never stay here". . I stay in plenty of motels, hotels, and Inn's, that are smoke free ( as most are these days) not a problem for me.. but turning my family away at 11pm, the time on my reservation for my arrival,..that he approved in my confirmation emails.... Had to back track 25 min away to find a room in Sedalia mo.. the worst interactions ever for me, from a staff of a business, anywhere ever... DON'T STAY There... EVIL MAN .. 🚫🚫‼️☢️☣️⚠️
Positive: The location was great Negative: The wallpaper was peeling there were stains on the ceiling the room smelled like it was 1000 years old and had not been updated since the 70's. The staff at check out were rude. The place to get ice at was dirty and didnt seem sanitary.
Horrible!! Seriously needs a good deep cleaning and updating would be even better. Beds are very uncomfortable and the dust in the heater vents are so thick and the burnt dust smell is very overwhelming. Deadbolt just spun ...very tiny room and all around just not a good experience at the only motel in town. I'd love to take it off their hands and brighten it up and make it comfortable.
Very clean and cozy motel with everything you need and fair pricing. Really enjoyed our stay. We actually ended up staying an extra night because the bed was so comfortable we couldn’t get out of it. Lol. Will definitely be back for that price and that bed.
Literally any port in a storm. We were traveling from Kansas City back to Texas when a really fierce thunderstorm moved in and several tornadoes were reported in the immediate area. We found the nearest shelter, this place, Twin Pines Motel. There were four of us, my wife, myself and our two sons. Two rooms were only $97.00 and that's where the positivity stopped. Checking in was awkward, I don't think the guy spoke English, a lot of nodding and pointing. My wife is disabled and she has a service dog. The dog is trained, certified and has paperwork to prove it. When we checked in the rain was blowing sideways and the wind, OMG, the wind. Nerves were frayed and we just wanted to get to a safe place. I neglected to inform the clerk of the dog. We weren't in the room two minutes whe
