Excellent camping experience, me and my friends found a wonderful campsite that was flat and comfortable. The fire pit was awesome and worked like a charm. There was plenty of sites to choose from so you should find one to your preference when camping here. We had a great time at Twin Bridges and would certainly consider returning in the future!
great spot to hike, camp, and just relax for an evening with a firepit! there is lots of shade from trees but it still feels open in most areas. there are two bridges of course that I regularly fish at for fun and I usually catch browns and rainbows with spinners. the access road has some bends to it so some people can come hauling around the corner just keep that in mind. you can also see a lot of wildlife in the area and if you walk to the rivers edge you can spot some really cool tracks from all sorts of animals! last note is that some cell phone carriers dont get service in the are and you have to walk a bit to find reception. Overall I would recommend checking out this place!
Felt like this was a great spot to layover, no hook ups, also no dump station or accessible fresh water spigot, all of this I knew that before going in. I struggled between rating this campground a 3 or 4, so let's start with Pros: - Price, at $5 dollars a night this is about as cheap as it gets. - 30 camp sites to choose from, all a little different, all level from what I could tell - Snake River is a couple hundred feet away - Tall mature trees Cons: - Available bathrooms are run down, one had no TP and lock was broke. - Traffic, seemed to be a lot of cars going in an out, if I had to speculate, I'd say local kids looking for out of the way spots. - Campsites could use a little more care I'd stay here again, so all in all not a bad spot. My visit was in late June and the river was flo
Nice little scenic camp area by the river. 10 bucks a night, no hookups. Picnic tables, firepits, garbage cans, pit toilets, and a playground. Do not park or drive on the grass at all. Be fire safe as the area is quite dry. All in all, its a mostly quiet place. There is definitely highway noise but not too bad.
Beautiful campground! Glad they cleaned it up! It used to be really overgrown, but it's nice and open now. Lots of deer around, you'll hear a few coyotes at night, might want to put up food so they don't get to it. Fishing is great on the river! They love a dry fly, in fall you'll get some really nice brown and cutthroat trout.
