Tunica Hills Campground

We booked this campground based on the website’s description emphasizing a setting for nature lovers. That was not the experience we encountered on New Year’s Eve. When we arrived in the late afternoon, there was no staff on site, and all communication required a phone call and back-and-forth text messages with the manager. There was no way to purchase advertised supplies. We were directed to a pile of kindling, which we were able to use with additional prep work. Shortly after completing the hour-long process of setting up our campsite, the noise began. Extremely loud amplified music, shouting, and fireworks from nearby private property continued for hours and carried clearly across the valley. Sleeping was impossible, especially with a child. When we texted the manager about the noise

First time visiting Tunica Hill. We will definitely be back! The closest campground to Clark Creek (15 min drive). Clean and organized campground. Each site was perfectly placed to take advantage of the awesome topography. Gorgeous views. The two ladies were sweet and very helpful. ||Upon arrival they pull up an ATV to load up your stuff. You are not allowed to drive down to the tent sites. This was extra work but we LOVED the fact you never heard cars coming or going! |We stayed in an electrical tent sites but for water it’s a few steps to a makeshift outdoor kitchen. |Each site had a beautiful and clean fire pit and picnic table. Our area had a small shower/vanity and a port a potty. All very clean. ||We stayed 3 days. We sincerely wish we could stay longer.

Won't ever use this place again. The owner charged my credit card without authorization. Was hesitant to stay due to the year before issues with no hot water, which wasn't fixed. Parking was inadequate as well. Now this happened. She was rude when I called to inquire about charges. She shouldn't be keeping credit card info which can be used for fraudulent usages. No confirmation call was made to me regarding supposedly stay nor deposit was made to TUNICA HILLS for a stay.

My family and I loved staying here! The cabin was small, but cozy and had everything we needed. Mrs. Brenda is very nice and down-to-earth. My daughter asked when we’re going back, so we booked another stay ☺️

Good to have a . Quiet moments with Nature,hiking and reconnected with the nature,Insects.I saw a deer on the road.My cabin are amazing with a complete barbecue ready for you to grill.Tv with ac and a bathroom is a plus.Of course Friendly owner is a big thumbs up .Will definitely will come back again.
