Tully Lake is a beautiful location for a campground. The Trustees staff who work at the location were extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and well-resourced. The campsites were really nice and mostly far apart, with some exceptions. You can’t drive to your campsites, so you do have to haul your belongings in wheelbarrows, which isn’t difficult but something to be aware of. The best part of this campground is the easy access to trails and other Trustees properties (Doanne’s Falls, Jacob’s Hill, and Royalston Falls). One sad thing is that, as of October 2025, Tully Lake is practically empty due to the intense drought; according to staff, this is the lowest water level in over 50 years since the lake was created by the US Army Corps. We had a lakeside campground, so it

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The sites were private and well cared for. The campground is located close to activities such as fishing, boating, hiking, and swimming. Will come back for sure!

Walk-in campground. Hard to get a lake spot but sites are very private. The location is awesome. For activities, you have plenty to do! Bring or rent a kayak. Lots of hiking trails and a dirt bike path. Absolutely beautiful area! The only downfall is one shower in the bathroom. Very clean well kept campground.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. We've been back 3 years in a row. If you are lucky enough to reserve on the day it opens, you can book some really nice waterfront sites. The lake itself is really great - you can rent a kayak or canoe from the store and paddle around to all of the islands, chilling out, exploring, or just going swimming. Be forewarned, that you can't drive up to the sites, so you do have to lug your stuff out. They provide garden style carts that you can use to move your gear, which is nice. At night, it's pretty quiet - there's no real road noise and even the wildlife was pretty quiet. Bathrooms are good for a campground - clean and well stocked. They have showers as well and they are free. The staff are pretty friendly and the camp store has items that you m

Tully Lake campground is a gem. ||||Pros: Set right on the lake, it’s entirely walk-in tent camping. It’s so peaceful to not to have any cars around. They have big wheelbarrows to transport your gear from the parking lot. We didn’t manage to get a waterfront site (or the coveted site on the little island!), but our site was large, very clean, and set beautifully into the forest. The staff is really friendly, and they had great family activities during the day and evening, as well as canoe, kayak, and bike rentals. The lake is fabulous for paddling, with lots of little islands that people were picnicking and sunbathing on. There’s an easy hike to beautiful waterfalls nearby. I found the bathrooms and shower clean and perfectly adequate.||||Cons: Unless you have one of those fancy animal-pro
