Tug Hill Resort

We had an amazing time at Tug Hill Resort in Redfield, NY. It’s a fantastic place to go snowmobiling and truly enjoy everything Tug Hill has to offer. Joe was our tour guide and took us on an incredible 80-mile run, what a ride. He was knowledgeable, fun, and made the whole experience feel safe and exciting from start to finish. Natasha at the front desk was super nice and a pleasure to deal with. She made everything easy and welcoming right from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for a great snowmobiling getaway with friendly people and an awesome experience, Tug Hill Resort is the place to go.

I would like to thank Joe and Natasha for an exceptional experience. The accommodations were top-notch—clean, modern, and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were spacious enough to easily accommodate all of our gear. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfast and coffee, which was a great convenience. The snowmobiles were all newer 600s with heated features and were clearly well maintained. We completed the 8-hour tour, and I highly recommend using a guide if you are unfamiliar with the area. Had a great time at Tug Hill Resort. The owners go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are modern , yet still have that rustic cabin feel.|The snow mobiles are well maintained and Joe is extremely helpful with answers to all your questions about the operation of the equipment and even lunch suggestions on the trail. There wasn't a lot of snow when we went over the Christmas break, but enough to see what snowmobiling is like to someone who has never experienced this before.|I did love that they have a fully equipped kitchen that is open to everyone. They supply simple breakfast items for you to cook and enjoy. I do love the option to bring your own food and use the communal kitchen to cook or heat something up- great idea !

On Saturday, 2/22/26 we rented snowmobiles from Tug Hill Resort and Joe led us on a 4 hour tour. We had a fantastic time. We followed Joe for 2 hours to the Tug Hill Hook & Ladder bar/restaurant and 2 hours back to the Resort. The weather was perfect. Joe thoroughly explained how to use the machines, etc. He's engaging and funny. We'll be back again in 2027.

From the moment my dad and I pulled in we were greeted by the owners, and it did not stop there. Checking in and out was super smooth, rooms were nice and warm. They even have a kitchen for guest to cook! Dad and I will definitely be returning and we plan on coming year around!
