Tru by Hilton Clearfield Hill Air Force Base

This place really confused me. They are clearly trying to appeal only to families with children. Everything about it feels juvenile and grimy. My room looked like it was designed for a 10-year-old boy. There was no closet—just a wall with hooks to hang things. There’s a pool table and the lobby is set up for socializing and hanging out, which is great to keep kids occupied after a day out. But the location makes that concept strange. The hotel sits right off the highway and shares a parking lot with a massive office complex. As a parent myself, I can’t imagine choosing that location where as far as I can tell, the only real draw is Thanksgiving Point, which is lovely but overpriced for what it offers and I would assume mostly attracts the people living in the state. Clean modern rooms and facility. Decent pool cues. We stayed during the week so the place was pretty quiet. Single king room was ADA friendly with a decent TV. It did not have carpet or a place for two to sit and watch it other than the bed. Breakfast was okay, kids will enjoy the auto pancake making machine.

Positive: The staff were absolutely amazing! We were on our way back to Montana from a week in Vegas and let me tell you how big of a difference in how we were treated and cleanliness was superb! Negative: Nothing.. everything was 💯

We have a wonderful stay here everyone was so welcoming and so nice! Everything was clean, our room was perfect! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was wonderful also!! The location was close to everything not far from where we needed to be to visit family. Very nice place to stay!! Money well spent!

Very small room for a king suite. There was little room for two people to maneuver. No rug. Soap and shampoo dispensers have to be squeezed to be used (no pump), which was almost impossible to use. Great breakfast and staff.
