The food is very reasonably priced and the beverages are ice cold. Suppertime ends at 5 pm, so plan your visit accordingly. They don't accept plastic, so bring greenbacks. Their phone number is 541.828.7773. Call ahead with questions. We always enjoy our time at the restaurant.

The Inn: The staff was kind and courteous. The hamburger and fries are good at the restaurant. The beer is cold. The town: The scenery is beautiful. Lots of wildlife. The only downside was some euro-trash techno music coming from a rental cabin that could be heard all over town. I don’t understand why someone would try to turn a wilderness area into a Frankfurt disco;feel sorry for the locals.

After a great day of rafting on the Grande Ronde River, stayed the night at this place. Had originally reserved a room upstairs but the owner was kind enough to upgrade us to a cabin with more space on the ground floor. That evening after a wonderful dinner in the lodge, complete with massive elk mounts on the walls reminiscent of an old German Tavern, the owner let us borrow a riverside campsite and have a bonfire. A beautiful place, I highly recommend it. Clean, good food, nice people. I can't wait until out next visit to Troy!

It's just a place to crash at night. Not really kept up that well. But there was a shower with hot water, a modern toilet that worked and coffee maker in the hallway. Upstairs there are three rooms that all share the bathroom. The sink is sort of in the hall and door to shower and door to toilet are both private. It worked. The bed I slept in is old. Needs replacement. Springs are pretty toast. That is my only complaint. It must be at least 15 years old estimated. Falls down on one side. Otherwise it's old and better than sleeping outside in the cold. Pic was from the river down the way.

We stayed in the RV Park. Park was clean and very relaxing. Spent 3 days exploring the area. Hiked on trails into the wilderness areas and rode FS roads on dual sport motorcycles. It was hot in the afternoons so little float down the Grande Ronde river was refreshing. This area is gorgeous. Wildlife and scenery is definitely our attraction. Deer walking thru town/camp all the time. Hotel/Camp managers are super friendly and helpful. Although we camped this round we're certainly interested in the cabins or lodge rooms in the future on our dual sport adventures.
