We booked the hotel 3 days before we arrived and we were late to check in and found out our room had been cancelled with no notification from the hotel we showed up at 8 pm tired and cranky from having a really bad day. We tried to get a room only to be told there is nothing they could do. The guy at the front desk had absolutely no empathy and he was so soft spoken I could barely hear him. He wouldn't look us in the eye and try to make a solution like maybe help us find a room for the night. I had to book on a hotel website on my own and he wouldn't give any apologies. I asked him for the address and he at first didn't write it down for me till I asked him multiple times. We noticed they was no rooms left because he cleargave our room away. We have been coming to this hotel for
The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was not good. Only 1 very small garage pail near the sink. Toilet paper in the bathroom just sitting on top of the toilet. Air conditioner has huge gaps you could see outside. Iron has water mold on it. Floors were dirty, looked like they had not been mopped in a while. Bathroom light switch looked like it had poo on it, very disgusting. There was also lots of dead bugs and spider weds on the ceiling, windows and walls.
I was hoping the renovation would make this stay a decent one. Cleanliness was a question mark. I came in and the toilet was visibly dirty from the last time it was used, so it made me wonder if anything else hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was something on the ceiling that I was hoping wasn’t mold. The hair dryer was missing from the holder. There was no room number (it was missing, but all the other rooms on the floor had their numbers displayed), so I walked by it the first time I was trying to find it. I liked the parts I could tell were renovated (the bathroom sink) and the location (very walkable). I bet experiences will vary from stay to stay. Good value if you’re traveling on a very tight budget, but this place wouldn’t be my first preference.
I've stayed here a couple of times and will most likely go back. For the most part the good tops the bad in this rating. The front desk is always friendly/helpful and the underground parking garage is a plus. Not only to avoid weather/outdoor temps but it's also provides surveillance for reassurance. Just like any other business the room cleanliness depends on who was on shift. I will say that on a scale of (worst) 1- 5 (best) my first stay was would be rated 5 but this last time would definitely be a 2. The floor had tacky sticky drip marks on it along with one of the desks, it had not been swept in the bathroom/sink area, dried toothpaste splattered on bottom rim of mirror frame/sink counter and the carpet appeared to be poorly vacuumed in a lot of areas. There were no tissues in the com
The rooms were not very clean, hallways were pretty disgusting also. Three days at this hotel and I didn't see the cleaning staff whatsoever. We went to use the coffee pot in the room and there was still a used pod in it and it was filthy. We never got new towels or anything while there. Ps bring your own blankets as the ones offered are definitely more like a sheet. There was a woman working during the day at the front office who was absolutely lovely I must say!! However the gentleman working overnight looked completely out of it and didn't really even notice you or care to acknowledge you. There is staff who would sit in the underground parking lot (used for guests!) literally in lawn chairs smoking I couldn't figure out who those staff were as down there was the only place I would se
