Travelodge by Wyndham Deltona

I’m gonna start this off by saying that I did book at a very busy time during the Daytona 500. So I know it was difficult in all the rooms were sold out as well as nearby hotels. However, that did not excuse the fact that when we arrived, the water was not running, which was no fault to the hotel themselves, but we booked a non-smoking room and they gave us a smoking room. My mistake was to physically go through with the check-in, thinking I could deal with it, but upon getting to the room, there were cigarette burns all over the comforters no phone in the room, and the conditions were absolutely deplorable, and they still refuse to give us our money back after we promptly went back down to the desk. Positive: The outside appearance Negative: The entire room was awful. No where to charge my phone. The linen and spreads were dingy. The bathroom sink had some substance in it. I did not want to sleep in the bed. Awful!!

Saw online they have breakfast so we stopped in and made reservation. Went to room. No good! Mold in bathroom, room smelled musty.Air conditioner squelling!!! Went back down to office and also learned they haven't served breakfast since COVID!!! Why is it still in Google then?. Man at counter was very nice did refund and we left.

The location was convenient to the expressway. The rooms were decent for a last minute cheap stay. The price was fair. The room was really clean per my standard but it could be to someone else. I was taking a shower and the water was pooling up. I felt the drain and it was built up hair clogging it. The soap wrapper from the previous guest was on the side of the trash can and there was, I hope food particles on the headboard. It was very quiet minus the motorcycles riding by on the main street.

Beware!!!! The rooms are a health hazard. I don’t know how they are still operating. Booked two rooms for the holidays to be closer to family. Location was perfect. Rooms were dirty , needed upkeep in handy work busted doors. Dead bugs in the corner and spider webs I felt like I was in a haunted house. I have kids with asthma. Just lazy and don’t clean the rooms.
