Location 5 ⭐ because hotels are important in small towns for away from home sporting events or travel for work. Service was 2 ⭐ namely because we didn't really use it but when I did interact with the staff they were very friendly and helpful. The ice machine - broken. The washer - broken. The drink machine only took dollar bills, no coins. Vending machine had maybe 4 items to choose from so if you are a Doritos or Reese's fan you're in luck. The breakfast was decent. No hot items but there were bagels (plain cream cheese only), a couple kinds of juice, coffee (no liquid creamer), flavored oatmeal packets, granola bars, fruit loops, frosted flakes, a gallon of milk in the fridge. Clean, updated homey rooms with local decor. Soft beds, hot water, clean bedding, adequate heat-cool system. Small breakfast and coffee available in the quaint lounge. Highly recommended, great value. Room was very comfortable and clean.

For the price, I'd say this is a pretty good hotel. I got a single room that was clearly meant to have two beds. One was replaced with a couch which left the room feeling pretty spacious and was a good spot if you wanted to do VR. It had a desk and a large office chair that was fairly comfortable and in good shape. The carpet was a little worse for wear, but that wasn't a big deal. The bathroom was a little cramped though, with the toilet being too close to the wall and the shower/tub being a little on the narrow side. The wifi is a very reasonable speed thankfully, because phone service out here is absolute trash. The morning breakfast is extremely basic, being some cereal, instant oatmeal packs, juice, milk and bagels that you can toast. It would have been nice to have some warm options

we had wonderful service from the front desk lady. she was very kind! our room was very clean and beautiful (king sized with jacuzzi tub, fire place, and couch). it was a wonderful night for us local couple (Winthrop) that just needed to get away for a night but stay close to home. we will definitely be back!!

If you are looking for a decent not fancy place to crash this is it. Great location. Rooms are basic but clean. The plaid couch in the room is dated. Bed is super soft if you like soft beds. Pillows were flat. Front desk staff very friendly. Hotel was very quiet. Would stay here again.
