Travelers Inn

I stayed here a long time ago and absolutely loved this bed and breakfast! The Host's were very nice and had an awesome sense of humor. The breakfast and dinners were very delicious and very country. The rooms were adequate and the bathroom was down the hallway and was never too busy. I wish I could remember their names but they were an older couple and they were very very nice. It was between 06 and 08 when I stayed there. If I could ever make it back, I will.

I was making a trek from Fort Worth to Caprock Canyon when I decided to stay one evening at the Travelers Inn. I was met by the owner of the place when I arrived late in the afternoon. He informed that the building was over a hundred years old and that several businesses have occupied the place. When I stepped inside the place the first thing caught my attention the was the clutter. This place had more the feel of a consignment shop than a bed and breakfast. A foosball table in the dining room? Please. The owner informed me that he did not take credit cards, just cash or a check. Why he did not tell me this on the phone is beyond me. || Anyway, he took me to the top floor and showed me six available rooms. He told me to pick one, which I did. The room I choose was small and

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. They do reunions, weddings, graduation parties! Hunters are also welcome with amenities to boot! Truley down home friendly folks! Great cooking! The whole town is a piece of American History! If you get a chance yo drive down the road to the Country Club and see the springs and the little white church you wouldn't be sorry! One of the most beautiful magical places left untouched by suburban life! A must visit place to put on the bucket list for sure! Love It!

Great country hide away. A quiet place to just get away and escape the city hustle and bustle rat race. Historic building built back in 1912 and still has that era feeling with a modernized twist but in just the right areas. Not much to do for people who require entertaining but perfect for the ones who enjoy nature,quietness and walks or just sitting under a tree and listening and admiring Gods creatures.
