Another adventure here. We took the afternoon pontoon tour of the swamp cedar forest. Diane was a wonderful guide with her historical and nature information. Leaves are not fully dressed in their Autumn display yet. Still we had a fun time.

Very nice campground with large site's. Easy to get in 4.5 miles off or rt 13. I wish the sites were a little more level then they are, but I've seen worse. The restrooms were decent with hot showers. The pond is large great for kayaking. Great hiking and Frisbee golf course. The dump stations were clean with plenty of room. I recommend camping here.

This campground has a nice camp office/store. Roads in the campground aren’t paved - gravel. Restrooms are pretty well kept and are cleaned every day. A nice playground and pavilion with picnic tables are provided and are very clean. Campsites are large and come with electricity and water. Extra bonus of super cute and friendly squirrels that try to steal your food 🥰

Visited with my family and friends last weekend, and had a wonderful time. It's such a beautiful park, and everyone was so nice. We were on loop B and were one of very few camping in tents. Because of this though, the restrooms and showers were always free, and very clean. We did the pontoon boat tour which was fun, as was the kayaking, and the swamp part of the pond is absolutely beautiful. The children loved the playground, free arts and crafts, and the free bikes. Will definitely be returning.

This place is a hidden gem. A beautiful and well kept state park that offers lots of activities for visitors. The main attraction is the rather large campground. Beautifully maintained campsites offer a clean but slightly more "rustic" camping experience while offering several planned activities for visitors and boat rentals during the summer months. We live nearby but still take the opportunity to camp here very often! We just finished a 3 day stay in one of our favorite winter getaways, the camping cabins. The cabins offer heating and cooling for all season comfort, electricity, as well as a mini fridge. There are bikes you can borrow to cruise around the park and explore all the beauty and wildlife Trap Pond has to offer. Truly an amazing family friendly and affordable park with phenome
