Trails West Motel

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The management staff was unprofessional and lacked basic communication skills, as they struggled to speak English clearly. When I reported that the air conditioner in the honeymoon suite was not working, they falsely claimed to have knocked on our door, which was not true. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The shower had red spots all over it, and the Jacuzzi also had red spots, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and sanitation. This made for a very uncomfortable and restless night. Despite requesting to speak with the hotel owner or manager, I was told that the owner was out of town and that I could not contact him. Location Advertised breakfast but none available "because of COVID" even though the emergency was officially over for months. As advertised toiletries but none provided not even hand soap or a hand towel until requested and then begrudgingly given. The towels that were provided were dingy and worn out. WIFI didn't work half the time. TV defective, some channels had no sound. No ice available, no excuses given just opened little freezer, looked in and said "don't have any". Quest laundry- " I think it is broken." The room itself was just OK, tired. Left feeling that the staff and owner were not dedicated to providing a service and growing their business. We stay here every year during the fair. This family is the best. It may not be the Hilton, but its clean. Safe and we will continue to stay here every year during the fair. The owner is super nice and its definitely affordable. Thank you.

AC unit did not work they said somebody would come and fix it but nobody ever came I went to the counter in the morning to talk about it and they said somebody knocked 3 times which NEVER happened I was unable to sleep due to how hot the room was, also the shower was unwashed and disgusting with red spots all over it. No refund options were available I highly suggest staying somewhere else unless this is all you can afford or if it is the only available motel in town such as in my case.

Called ahead and made reservation, they said I could show up at 3am since they have a night shift door bell. Check in was smooth with overnight clerk, good service on phone and in person. Rooms and location a little run down but pretty clean. Shower worked good, tv had couple dozen channels, NO Bed Bugs but bedding fairly stained. Checked out at 2:10pm no hassle. Good for convenience and budget.
