Townsman Inn Larned

My son and I were in town for a hunting trip and booked 2 nights. The room was dirty, the bedspreads had to be 30 years old, the caulking around the shower and sink had shrunk up and was just painted over. It was ok, for us, but I wouldnt take my wife and kids there. It was warm and the water was hot, beds were old but ok. No coffee pot in the room. Wont stay there again!

Room was Ok and bed was comfortable. Was not sure it was open as the grass was real tall in the front yard in August. There were no plastic glasses, facial tissue, hair dryer or ice available. Front desk clerks were friendly, but their vehicle was parked in front of the door to the office, both on arrival and departure.

It seems as if they're trying to be a nicer budget option but aren't there yet.||The room is spacious and clean. It's quiet. It had a settee for more comfortable sitting. Dual-flush toilet was nice.||OTOH, there were no tissue or cups in the room. The table where you might put a laptop didn't have a chair. Pillows not great.||So, an OK budget stay, but could use some improvements.

Well the room served its purpose. The bed was extremely comfortable. The guy at the front desk was very polite. The guy at the desk was also very good and polite about my service dog too which I appreciate immensely. There are places to eat and a gas station right there also. Very walkable. However the room smelled of old stale cigarette smoke and the room wasn’t very big. I also had to turn the hot water all the way to hot to get a temperature I like. I will stay here again and maybe I will get a room that doesn’t smell of stale cigarette smoke.

Townsman inn has upgraded many things since the last few years and I think it’s worth the price staying there. Staff is really nice and looking forward to seeing them again. No breakfast anymore but everything else is great and fine for me. Thanks for cleanliness for the rooms and your time
