Townhouse by Zenmotel

I booked a stay at the Treehouse Hotel in Miami for April 2025 but ultimately chose not to stay due to the condition of the property. Upon arrival, I noticed that the common areas, corridors, and stairs were visibly dirty, suggesting that cleaning standards were quite poor. The room itself was outdated and unclean, with black hair found on the beds, which was particularly off-putting. Unfortunately, the management was unwilling to offer a refund, which added to the disappointment. I was very dissatisfied with the state of the hotel itself.

WARNING: do not stay here! My fiancé and I stayed for about a week and it was the worst experience. We were fooled by the reviews and images on Airbnb. The rooms and bathrooms are gloomy, small and need a big upgrade. In addition, it’s extremely cold and they only give you one thin blanket for the entire stay. There’s no room clean up or towel change either so expect to be squeezed into a small, humid and messy area. The location is far from most of the Miami attractions unless you have a car. One of the nights there was a girl crying and screaming for help in the building so we called the police. Even after the police came to help her she continued to stomp up and down the stairs, screaming and crying. This left us feeling worried, unsafe and unable to sleep for hours. The next morning th

Simple zen decor as promised. AC was blasting, and it’s well ventilated (unlike a lot of MIA hotels). The shower has great water pressure and super hot water if you want that. It was the opposite experience I had elsewhere on this trip. They were extremely responsive to all messages, and it’s a breeze to check in and out. Zero issues.

Pretty good place for the price and gets the job done. Nice comfy room with tv, bathroom and Wi-Fi. Overall it’s a great experience. The parking is in a good. They have nice surveillance cameras that watches your parked vehicles to prevent theft.

What at first sight looks ok, really isn’t. From the dirty, frayed and heavily stained jute/sisal “carpeting,” to mold growth and dirty rank a/.c units causing a crazy bad odor. Both my roommate and I were overwhelmed.||Add one desk clerk who cell phone chatters nightly rather than attending guests, letting them get soaked in a deluge. Ah, and the entrances flood badly. I waded in to find my passcode didn’t work. The desk clerk, still on the cell with a friend,, was put out to have to let me in. The passcode often did not work— yet, in a hurry, i mistakenly trie another room’s door —and the passcode did work!
