Can’t give a full stay review as we checked in and back out. But I can’t give it a horrible review because it’s clearly being worked on and customer service counts for a ton. But due to them working to upgrade it is very heavy in drywall dust all over which made it very hard for us to stay due to allergies and not being able to breathe. When we arrived it seems they were having an alarm issue and it kept going off every 2-3 mins. So we left to find another place to stay, and when we came back and explained the issue the front desk agent Ashley was super kind and understanding. Very cute from the outside the inside has a ways to go but full of potential. One of the nastiest hotels Ive seen/been in. Made a month long reservation because the website photos looked nice but it was filthy, smelled humid/moldy, and extremely ill-maintained. When I walked in my room it looks like someone had literally just rolled out of the bed—sheets pulled down and all. Coffee spills all over the counter, food crumbs all around the kitchen, the entire room was dirty. All appliances and TVs were old and dated as well. Additionally, the pool and breakfast facilities are “being renovated” and not available which wasn’t advertised when I paid…They gave me a refund without any hassles but when I emailed IHG, they responded without at all addressing the dirtiness of the hotel. We stayed for 2 nights but wished I only booked for 1 night. Was not aware that hotel didn't include free hotel shuffle so had to pay 30USD return for my own uber. Upon late arrival to hotel due to air traffic problems due to bad weather in miami our room door wasnt locked and bed wasnt made so we moved rooms. Hotel is about 15/20 mins drive from airport. I would not stay here again as location and no free airport shuttle is not appealing for me. The fact that I received no proper apology from hotel regarding my reserved room I would not stay here again!!

12/03/2024 I had high expectations for this property given its association with Marriott, but unfortunately, that name does not guarantee quality or good service. My experience was deeply disappointing. The hotel is undergoing what seems to be a never-ending renovation. There is no proper lobby for breakfast—you’re forced to grab a few food items, pack them in a bag, and take them to your room unless you want to eat awkwardly in a hallway. The quality of the food is concerning; I nearly ate a moldy pastry. The front desk service was rude and inattentive, making the check-in and check-out process unpleasant. To make matters worse, the entire hotel has a terrible smell, and the rooms are dirty, outdated, and poorly maintained.

I am loyal to certain brands and the Marriott brand generally meets my expectations. I’m beyond disappointed with my experience. My reservation was booked on the Marriott Bonvoy app (I’m a rewards member) at the last minute. I trusted the Marriott brand wouldn’t fail me. Let’s start with the smell, as soon as we opened the door to walk inside the hotel the hall smelled of urine, and funk, covered up with cleaning product and incense. Our room appeared clean however there was old dust balls throughout the rooms and the windows were so bad you couldn’t see outside. My family didn’t sleep in the beds, the furniture was stained and dirty, we were very uncomfortable. We laid towels down everywhere so we didn’t have touch the dirt hidden beneath.
