TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Antonio Universal City/Live Oak

Nice and clean hotel. Grounds, lobby and rooms were all immaculate at recent stay in late February. Complimentary breakfast had many options- fresh food was available even during the last hour. The hotel room was spacious and had a few unique features- big shower and closet. Customer service was great.

Wonderful!!!  New, nice, clean, safe.  Mini-kitchen comes with almost full-sized fridge and freezer, 2-burner stove, dishwasher, dishes, microwave, and kitchen sink with disposal.  Desks, tables, and chairs were perfectly convenient and space-efficient.  Room was spacious with a good layout, and the gym had great equipment for workouts.  The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.  This would be an especially great hotel for longer stays like business conferences and travel nursing.  We'll be back if we're in the area!  Thank you!

One of the better Townplace Suites I have stayed at in traveling for business in the past 15 years.||The hotel has some very nice areas to relax / grill / chill on the patio / swim / shaded. The view in the back is of two holes of the golf course.||The small bar was staffed by a bartender, made a tasty cherry smoked old fashioned which I enjoyed out by the pergola and grill area. Was very quiet and the weather was perfect to relax at the end of the day at dusk.||My hotel room was quiet until a family was very loud outside, until 10ish. Great view of the golf course, had the window ajar and enjoyed the sounds of the drives.||Overall was a nice stay.||Very few dining options on premises (food available to microwave) with plenty to choose from close by.||Worth staying at the hotel if you

Located directly off interstate. Entrance difficult to notice on first visit. On going construction and road noise prominent in road facing rooms. Check in was easy. Hotel was clean. Elevators were quick, never waited more than 30 sec. Rooms were clean and comfortable although the restroom smelled a bit musty. Free breakfast had good variety but was basic, free breakfast quality. Hot tub was closed due to construction. Beautiful view of golf course beyond the pool area but a little too close. A golf ball came into the pool area and hit the pergola directly above my head. A net should be installed for guests safety. No late check out was available. Overall a good stay.
