TownePlace Suites by Marriott Parkersburg

Great staff. Rooms were on the small side but clean and we'll appointed. Room was a little beat up (patches visible on ceiling and walls) but overall shows promise for a former abandoned hotel with a little more TLC over time. Very small room for a king suite but didn't bother me as I was by myself.

Upon walking in to check in, we were greeted with an empty desk. The security guard advised they would be right back. After about 15 minutes a gentleman came out and said sorry his phone was on do not disturb. We came to get a good nights sleep before driving another 7 hours back home. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was on the hard side, but comfortable for a good nights rest, there were plenty of pillows. The bathroom was well stocked and very clean. The best part of this visit was breakfast. There were so many options, more than a standard hotel breakfast. Dee was super speedy ensuring everything was clean and restocked. My husband dropped some chocolate chips and before I could grab a napkin she already had it wiped up. She definitely made a good impression and takes pride

My family and I stayed just to get out of the house last weekend and first time being there I have to say it’s my new favorite! The staff are friendly. Breakfast was pretty good. The pool was warm and full of fun. The patio was the cutest! We stayed on 3rd floor with the separated bedroom from living room and with kids this was definitely the best way to go! Everything was clean and we will definitely be going back!!

This hotel is very good choice. Staff and security were absolutely amazing and helpful. I felt very welcomed and happy with my time here.

Rooms were clean and staff was awesome. The location is very central to downtown as well. Would recommend.
