TownePlace Suites by Marriott New Hartford

We have stayed at this property now over a dozen nights and the place is clean, comfy and super easy to get to off the main roads. It is convenient to many ancillary services. What made all the difference is Beth at the front desk. She was consistently kind, patient and professional!

We were looking for a home away from home while waiting to move into an apartment after relocating from out of state. We chose TownePlace Suites and stayed for 6 nights. It did not disappoint! Room was great and Beth was amazing! They even gave us an extended stay discount, which was a bonus. Location was good too. It's next door to a convenience store and a very short drive to Walmart and other shopping.

We only stayed a night but wish it had been longer! This place is simply the most well-thought-out property of its kind--and we travel a lot. They get the 'big' things right, but most do. So it's the 'little' things that individually are noteworthy and, taken together, created a uniformly excellent experience. Check-in and check-out were speedy and cordial. All staff were professional and upbeat, evidencing that they find it rewarding to work there. ||The layout of our suite was exceedingly thoughtful. In particular, the closet! Doors were sensibly located to give access from the entrance/kitchen area and the bathroom. Its interior features were outstanding: places for shirts, jackets, trousers, suitcases, everything. Loved every minute of it. The kitchette and dining table was the best for us with two kids. The pool was clean and enjoyable. Beds so comfy, just wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy the luxury some more. Hotel staff could not have been better. Maybe put a note where the ice machine is located would be helpful on the freezer door, incase the cubes don't freeze fast enough for you in your private frig/freezer! Loved the place and was able to use our hotel.com credits toward a stay.

- Shower was not hot, fluctuated between lukewarm and cold - Poor noise control in the rooms, the person above us was stomping around and dropping things and we had to turn the heat fan on to cover up the noise - Continental breakfast: waffle maker ran out ~45mins before close. Notified from desk, but it was never refilled, even though at least another dozen people can down for breakfast after.
