TownePlace Suites by Marriott Laconia Gilford

Came here with my teenage son and his friend to snowboard at gunstock for a couple of days. Rooms were very nice, clean, as well as the pool. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was very nice to have two separate bedrooms so the Kids could have their own space. It was also nice to have a stove and refrigerator and microwave! Also, this place is only 10 minutes from gunstock and very nice location to the highway

Very nice clean and quiet hotel. The employee that runs breakfast was exceptionally nice. She made sure that everyone had what they needed even if it wasn't on the bar. Close to great restaurants - Frattellos!! |The only complaint was that I reserved a room with a King bed and when we got there they put us in a room with 2 queens. They said they are allowed to overbook and sell rooms to the the higher tiered members first. Why are you able to go online and reserve the room you want, then not be able to get it? This didn't make any sense to me at all. I asked the girl at the desk if calling corporate would help and she said probably not. I asked again when we checked out if I called would they comp a portion of the price or give us points and she said we could try and call. When w

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom family units, which was large enough to accommodate our family of 4 and contained a small kitchenette with stove, oven, full-size fridge, etc. PROS: Great proximity to Gunstock, local restaurants, several downtown areas and even a public sledding hill for the kids! The indoor pool was also a nice amenity as was the complimentary continental breakfast each morning (to-go for COVID). The hotel staff were extremely nice, friendly and as accommodating as possible. CONS: The hotel website states a queen bed + pull-out sofa in one of the bedrooms; however, this was not the case as the pull-out sofa is in the living room area. Stayed for 2 nights in February 2026. This hotel was a big disappointment. This review has been tampered with! I never put up the name they have on it or that location . I tried to fix it and it won’t let me! Concord Inn and Suites in Concord NH on hall street is the worse place that I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was rude and twice walked in the room when we had paid an extra $150 for a late check out. We had one of our bags stolen and the staff refused to do anything about it. I would never recommend Concord Inn and Suites ( Best Western) on Hall Street in Concord NH to anyone. The phone didn’t work in the room, it was disgustingly dirty in the bathroom and what ever money you give to these people will never be seen by you again. I’ve never been treated so badly by people in the hospital

I had a positive experience at this hotel during my vacation. The rooms were fresh and clean. I loved that the room had a fully functioning mini kitchen which makes it easier when traveling with little ones. I will say our bathroom had this odd sour smell that wouldn’t go away no matter how much air freshener I sprayed, It wasn’t a huge deal as we were not staying long term. The breakfast was decent as well as there were options for hot eggs and other items! Overall good experience.
