TownePlace Suites by Marriott Corpus Christi

I’ve stayed in countless hotels, but nothing even comes close to the experience I had at TownePlace Suites. From the moment I walked in, I knew this stay would be different. The Staff A huge shoutout to *Megan* and the *Manager!* They made my check-in an absolutely unforgettable experience. They were so cheerful and welcoming, and they even surprised me with a snack goodie bag. Honestly, their kindness really made my day. It’s rare to be treated like the staff is genuinely happy to see you, and it makes all the difference. The Rooms The rooms are fantastic—very spacious, modern, and they actually smell clean, which is a huge plus for me. The appliances are updated, and the mini-kitchen is a total game-changer. We stay here a lot. Morgan at the front desk was exceptionally helpful in showing me how to use the Marriot Bonvoy app which allows you to check in & issues you keyless entry on the app! This hotel is best priced spot in the area with comfy beds & breakfast included near the island. They also offer a Military rate! The rooms each have full kitchens and comfy beds. This time we stayed in room 223 which had 2 queen beds. The main bed was super comfortable but the second bed, not so much. It make a weird nose when ever we sat on it. It felt foamy, similar to an air mattress. we all slept on the same bed. I'm not quite sure what that was all about. Also, the light our bathroom was wired to trigger on the LOUD air vent. This made it hard to be discreet in the night or forced us to

Positive: Very friendly lady. Negative: The refrigerator kept making loud noise so it was hard to sleep. Room was still a little dirty there was debris on the floor under the bed. The door to go out to the parking lot did not lock. So I was somewhat scared thinking someone could just walk in.

Traveling is hard on a person especially finding a place to stay. I decided to book here knowing that the Marriott brand will have my needs met. I've been a Marriott member for years and love The Residence inns because they have kitchenettes. I had Meganne at the front desk check us in. She was fantastic with assisting me with my fur baby and setting up our room. Knowing how tired and feeling stressed we were she was there for us. This is the kind of person whe deserves recognition for going above and beyond that management should reward. As for location and upkeep of this place it is 100% excellent. Megan at the front desk went above and beyond for my daughter and I. We are here for Island Days at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, and we did not have a good experience at another hotel. We causally shared this information to explain why I was a little frustrated with having to call my husband to get access to our room. Megan transparently explained this was for our safety. This was one of many steps she took to ensure we had a much better experience. We will definitely be back and we are enjoying taking our 🐢 Myrtle on this journey. What a fun idea found at the front desk to earn more reward points. Myrtle's first experience out of the hotel was Sushi downtown.
