Town Lyne Motel

The couple who run this place are very kind. If you are expecting plush carpets and 5 star amenities, look elsewhere. I recommend getting a "family room" in the back building away from 202. I stayed for 5 nights, and it wasn't cheap, but I ask, where do you find a cheap room in this part of NY? The bed was clean, the shower worked, the AC worked and the flat screen TV was all I needed.

When signing in make sure you read the fine print because there are NO REFUNDS. If you like your room to smell like a wet ash tray and staying at a no tell motel, then this is the place for you. Otherwise stay far far away. Management needs to take courses to learn how to be honest with their guests. How sad that this establishment would take advantage of people in a time of need to rip them off when you have no choice to go else where when mother nature puts you out in the cold. PEOPLE BEWARE

This place was absolutely disgusting. The rooms are TINY, the walls are GROSS, the tv is a 10" old tube set, there are ZERO ammenities (not even shampoo), the phone didnt work, the bathroom barely has any room to stand in, there was no heat and it was 30 degrees at night, its right off the main road and was so loud i could barely sleep and the bed feels like a piece of wood with sheets on it. I have never been so grossed out by a place and ive never have been so uncomfortable. This place also had the nerve to charge $85/night. Oh and on top of it being disgusting, the owners are probably the rudest couple ive ever met. Im calling the health dept and BBB. I wouldnt stay here again if it was $10/night. When I stayed at this motel I felt at home. The rooms were very clean and the owners showed great hospitality. I stayed for months while my house was being renovated and the lady there was very kind.

The room was very cold. It took over 90 minutes for the room to heat. There was NO hot water whatsoever after letting the shower run for over 20 minutes.
