Tomales Hotel

Great location between Bodega Bay and Point Reyes. The post office, a general store, and a cute local bakery/restaurant are also just across the street from this hotel. We appreciated the old-school decor, yet everything was very clean and functional. Coffee & tea were also available in the lobby. It’s self check-in, but the process was simple and easy. Just remember to check your email for the door code! We would stay here again.

*Hidden gem*. This far exceeded our expectations during recent stay, a historic fully restored hotel set in tiny village with old charm on US route 1. Just an hour’s drive from San Francisco, it’s a serene escape where you can watch cows grazing on the picturesque hills right across, grab an incredible coffee or a bite at the local fresh bakery. Only two miles from Dillon Beach, multiple hikes also not too far from Petaluma downtown with excellent food options. We look forward to returning regularly to just to relax.

This is a hidden gem on Highway1 north of San Francisco with easy access to Dillon Beach, Point Reyes, Petaluma, etc. Beautifully appointed rooms with classic charm and comfortable stay. Coffee, tea and microwave in the lobby and refrigerator in the room. There’s a wonderful bakery, general store and taco place across the street and a range of dining options within a short drive. Loved it!!

Cute, comfy and very accessible hotel perfectly positioned in between a bunch of various activities and sights to see. Recommend anyone looking for a weekend getaway to a peaceful and serene landscape Amazing seafood and hikes, and many small towns with great history all around as well

I really enjoyed my stay here. Nice and quiet place to hang your hat for a night on your way somewhere. The short scenic ride to the Bodega Bay Sunset is a good way to spend your evening while at The Tomales Hotel.
