Tolland State Forest Campground

My group had a great time at Tolland (2 nights-TH, F). We stayed at site 43: beautiful with tons of flat space for tents and ample shade. The comfort stations aren’t far but not so close you can hear it or anything like that. Overall the sites are spaced pretty far apart, giving everyone a lot of room. Groups around us respected quiet hours. It was a very peaceful time here. The occasional loud jet ski or boat were the most annoying sounds but it wasn’t so bad. The staff seemed to be attentive and kept up the comfort stations every day. There were wasps in and around the comfort stations so just be mindful. We wished we could pull our cars in closer to our camp, but there are boulders keeping you from doing this. There is still plenty of room to park, just something to keep in mind if you

We camped on the Tolland state forrest campground and it was a great experience. We had a two year old toddler and he also had a blast. We camped on site 74. You can bring a car inside even though it seems like the two trees on the entrance seem to be a blocker. The side is large one. But bit far from restrooms. But beach is in a walking distance. If it wasn’t raining, it would have been an amazing experience. And big thanks for the rangers who stayed late to check us in on a Friday night.

Amazing views of the lake and scenery. Camp ground workers do rounds on their golf carts to make sure everything is going smoothly and is in order. Very friendly and go above and beyond for everyone.

Excellent and clean! Pristine waterfront. The campsites were spacious and lovely. Bathrooms were tidy and clean.

Awesome, well maintained campground. Rangers and staff are fantastic!! I can't emphasize how well maintained everything is considering its a state park. Water and walking/biking trails are great. I was there during the weekdays and it was quite and peaceful.
