Normally would give 5 stars, but giving 4 due to trail conditions. Restrooms, showers, campgrounds good shape, but disappointed with the main trail this time. Have done it several times and normally love biking it, great challenge, but so many downed trees, markings nonexistent, and severely overgrown. Maybe a quarter mile in where people walk a tiny strip and that's it was 'groomed-ish'. Fully expected a rugged trail, but this was no longer a trail, and just became a good luck navigating. If I didnt have my GPS watch, wouldn't have been able to track due to no service. Not for the inexperienced, make sure you have good suspension and solid shoes.
Feels remote but close to everything. Clean, well maintained, and a hidden gem. Terrific camp hosts. Everything you need from hiking to swimming.

Nuce, quiet place to stay! Nor much to do close by, but we were there visiting my daughter in a near by town.
